We've been to Benin!

The participants from Brazil, Great Britain, Czech Republic and Austria spent ten days with their project partners in Porto Novo. The hosts prepared an exciting for their guests:
During a historical guided city tour, market tour and cultural evenings the group got the possibility to get to know each other. Because the teachers were very curious to see the schools our hosts enabled them not only to visit the classes but also to teach the one or another class. Moreover some Global Education school societies presented their work to the guests. Additionally the group was invited to the ministery of education. Furthermore the international guests attended some projects like the one on substainable agriculture in Benin.
The last evening is characterzied by cultural exchange. Every group presented their country in a particular way. The Austrians brought a fancy dress with them and dressed up in traditional Austrian "Dirndl" and "Lederhosen" and made Kaiserschmarrn for everyone.
After ten day of working and spending time together the guests left Porto Novo to go home. They left new friends, but brought a lot ideas for the project and unforgettable impressions with them. "Merci beaucoup, bon voyage et à bientôt!“
